1. Be on time. You can't get started, if you never arrive and arriving late just puts you behind.
2. Be prepared. If you stay ready, u don't have to get ready.
3. Work ethic. Poor work ethic can get you fired, Good work ethic can get you that promotion. Choose to be reliable.
4. Effort. If at 1st you don't succeed, try and try again. See, You never know what you are capable of if you never even try.
5. Body Language. So do you slouch or so you sit up straight? Do u look at the ground when u have a conversation or look the person in their eyes? Understand that 1st impressions and there after, tell people alot about you. Your body language is your advertisement. It tells people if your confident or unsure, truthful or untrustworthy. Pay more attention to you... and so will others!
6. Energy. Your energy introduces you before a word is ever spoken. Are you smiling or frowning. Your energy can be the difference between someone approaching you to make conversation, advising you for an opportunity, or just plain staying away from you.
7. Attitude. This is HUGE. Are you a positive or negative person? Are u always complaining or are you the one with the solutions? Your attitude can either make you the go to person or the person everyone hates dealing with. Your attitude on life in general can make you depressed...or give you hope! Positivity is the foundation of success.
8. Passion. What fuels you? If you don't know, find it! People who are passionate about what they do...do it extremely well. Passion is the wind beneath your wings.
9. Be teachable. Once you stop learning, you stop growing. Elevation comes with knowledge. No one likes a ridged know it all. Always remember, there's more than one way do anything! The more you know...the more valuable you are. But who wants to teach someone who's stubborn? Be open to learning new things.
10. Do extra. Nobody in the history of Earth has ever done the bare minimum and gotten ahead. Doing "just enough" only keeps the pace...going above and beyond wins the race! Teach yourself to be proactive, to take it on even if it's not your responsibility. Doing more, makes you stand out bringing you to the forefront. Those are the people who become Leads, Supervisors, Bosses and Business owners.
